I've decided to post on here to see if I get any honest connections from people that are in a similar situation? I found out I was exposed to herpes and have been open and honest with people I start dating. Unfortunately, this has backfired and I've had some amazing rejections because of my honesty. The truth is, most people carry the virus and don't even know it until an outbreak happens, or they actually decide to get blood work done to test for it (which isn't always reliable). I have known several people to have had HPV (which can cause cancer in some forms), and not report it to their partners? It baffles me as to why herpes has such a bad stigma compared to HPV? I consider myself a cute female with curves, good career, educated, independent etc... I like outdoor activities as well as staying in on a rainy night with a movie. I'm looking for a well rounded guy who has an established and good career, educated, into exploring the city and trying new bars/restaurants. A travel companion would be great.
